I apologize if this is in the wrong forum but I need answers and
unfortunately the forums on the realm crafter website is locked to new
registration. My wife just bought a license of Solstar Games Realm
Crafter Standard Thursday at 7:36 pm for me and while their website says
it shouldn’t take no longer then 24 hours she still haven’t received a
“complete status” in her email yet. Also to make matters worse on why I
don’t understand why it’s not complete yet, after she purchased it, it
went from queued, then processed in a matter of a minute.
I tried calling their number that I found on the better business bureau
website but no one was answering the phone and to make matters even more
complicated, they had an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and
from what I found out, unfortunately after purchasing it, they have not
responded to complaints, and also it seems like their professional
version been in beta version for over 3 years now and they’ve been
promising that they will finalize it soon.
Should I call up my bank and consult a lawyer to see what my legal
options should be or would you guys recommend me to wait another day or

I would call your bank and see if you can cancel it somehow. It’s really
outdated and not for very many people. You just can’t whip up an MMORPG.
It’s expensive to set up servers, etc. Pick an engine that is proven
like Unity and use the free version until you decide you can do the work
and preparation necessary, because there is a lot even with a simple
game. Another option would be to do a mod for a game that has an editor.
That would be a lot better way to get your feet wet and you would only
be out the price of a game, and believe me, you would get a lot more
people playing it than doing something like realm crafter.

I just called up my bank and disputed that order. I did read the reviews
about the standard version and it received mixed reviews. While I was
hoping to get a decent mmorpg with it that’s not the point. The point is
they charged the money at 7:36 pm Thursday and as of this message it
still hasn’t been finalized. No response from customer service either
and the number on the BBB website noone answers that, and the number
that the bank has for them is for a cleaning service. Unity is
definitely looking good right now.
