Im having trouble running the UDK engine on my current work computer. I wont be getting a new one until later this year and need to get a demo out soon. Any ideas?

Your computer made out of cardboard? :) The Unreal engine is pretty old. Should be able to run on most DX9 hardware, providing you don’t force enable DX10+ level features or run heavy GPU stuff. Only reason to look elsewhere is to go with something more lightweight, like Unity or Torque. Or check out the Engine DB here and see what floats your boat.

What sort of features do you need, and what type of game are you trying to create?

I have trouble with UDK on my computer. I use Unity, which runs pretty good.
