Hello folks

I am developing a scheduler actions for RTS games, and would like you to help me because I am looking for a mod of some famous game (like World of Warcraft or strarcraft) that might be possible to test that my scheduler (it is based on the algorithm LRTA *) in practice.

If anyone can help me, I’ll be very grateful.

Is this the sort of thing you’re looking for?

Whoa, that’s quite the hackery Reed.

One of the best RTS games to mod is Supreme Commander. It’s all LUA script driven. Sorian, who was a community AI developer later hired by GPG to work on the AI for SP2 because he did a very good job of improving the AI for SP. Another excellent and now open source project is Warzone 2100 (it’s a cult classic). I don’t remember if their AI is script based, but the code is available and the common AI algorithms such as rushing, turtle, tech rush, etc. are provided as examples.

Thanks, yes, I did not know that API based on Starcraft, I will research it better, I am master student in computer science and always looked at games, and now I’m turning my attention to the RTS `s that have very challenging task.

With iss still could not find the ideal environment for testing and generation of work on it of course. And Bwapi seems a good alternative.

Thanks for the tip, I had known warzone 2100 (really classy), I will research more about it as well.

I see all the possibilities for mods, because I need to test AI algorithms famos modifies as A * and * LRA, and thus must have access to the mod to insert the codes and see the results in practice.

More suggestions?
