I am planning to start a hardcore flight simulator (3 men project). Our
target is something close to LockOn. At first we were planning to write
an engine from scratch (or using Ogre) until we heard for software such
as Unity, Shiva, NeoAxis etc. Right now I am learning Unity (this one is
the quickest for me to learn and is good enough in terms of graphics and
easy of use).
Now, the questions.
Is Unity powerfull enough to handle such an task? Is it’s script enough
to wright some advance physics? Or would someone recommend another
engine which is more suitable for the task.
