The software, developed as part of a competitive analysis, is an honest attempt to use SAPI as a lipsync engine. The software generates phoneme alignment information given an audio file and optionally a text transcript.
Although not as robust as Annosoft's offerings, the SAPI implementation could be used in a production environment, and the price is right. Some tools currently use this technique, and we thought it might allow others to work faster or create new tools of their own, and also show off some of Annosoft's strengths in this area.
It's well documented and should be pretty straightforward to learn.
