Analysis of the Havok Physics Engine

FileFront has spoken with the Chief Technology Officer of Havok, Steve Collins, about their project, history, challenges, and future. Among the lessons learned for a physics engine geared for games: "Sometimes there is a really big difference between math and reality...if it looks right then it is right". Havok powers many commercial games including Half-life 2.
