Game Development Booms in Canada

An article by Chad Sapieha for the Globe and Mail shows how game development in Canada is growing drastically. Here is a preview:

"The presence of Canadian game developers at the 10th annual Electronic Entertainment Exhibition (E3) in Los Angeles this spring was hard to miss. Talent from Halifax to Vancouver displayed new games show, leaving no doubt the Canadian videogame development industry is thriving.
"There are new studios everywhere," said Maxime Belanger, one of the people behind Montreal-based Ubisoft's blockbuster Splinter Cell franchise. "There's a huge presence on the West Coast, and the East Coast is really developing now. Montreal and Toronto are becoming new poles for videogame development.""
