Matali Physics Version 3.3 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of Matali Physics 3.3. Matali Physics is a high-performance, cross-platform, advanced 3D physics engine intended for physics-based simulations and games. The engine comes in the three editions: Basic, Standard and Pro and is available across multiple platforms:

  • Android
  • BlackBerry OS
  • iOS
  • Linux
  • OS X
  • SteamOS
  • Windows ecosystem

The latest version 3.3 introduces:

  • Comprehensive support for Android Native Activity. This C/C++ Android application model is mainly used for multimedia apps and computer game development and helps ensure the best possible performance. Sample projects based on both Android Java Activity and Android Native Activity are included in the Matali Physics Pro SDK 3.3

  • An updated Matali Render add-on. The latest rendering module provides projectors as a new type of light sources, the ability to merge multiple projectors in a separate, breakable entities as well as introduces precise calculation of shadows. Currently the shadows do not require the time-consuming matching bias.
