Vicious Engine demo now available on Sony's PS3 dev net

A playable copy of Vicious Cycle Software’s GDC 2009 demo for Vicious Engine 2 is now up for download on the PLAYSTATION3 Developer Network. Licensed PS3 developers and publishers just have to grab the .pkg file from the private dev site and extract it to their PS3 test/dev kit to give it a try.

The demo was built by a small core team of approximately 6 people over the course of 8 weeks. It includes demonstrations of lighting, animation, physics, special effects, audio, and player control, and gives a great overview of the engine’s capabilities for any developers who might be considering it as the foundation for their game.
