The February 2008 release of 3D Rad is now available for download at the 3D Rad website.
3D Rad is a collection of intelligent objects you can combine in virtual space to create interactive 3d worlds. What you get depends on the nature of the objects you add and the relationships you establish between them. The current collection of objects is mainly geared towards racing/driving games, but the sky is the limit if you can use a 3d modeler. Scripting is also supported for those who aren't afraid of coding.
This release brings improved lighting (now supporting point lights for all existing shaders), camera shaking effects (to simulate quakes, dinosaur steps, vibrations caused by high speed, human camera handling), a new object to add force feedback support to your projects, important updates to the editor and bug fixing.
