FastLSM soft body physics library released

A programming library implementing FastLSM, a new algorithm for simulating soft body physics which was presented at SIGGRAPH 2007, has been released on the FastLSM project page. Also available on that page are the SIGGRAPH paper, downloadable demos, and a streaming video. Fracturing soft body physics can provide for fully destructible environments, improved ragdolls, and more realistic vehicle damage simulations. For an example of an application to video games, please see the RealMatter engine, also based on this algorithm.
