Gamestudio, the easy all-in-the-box game development system, announces the prerelease of its A7 version. A7 is the successor to the A6 engine. It uses a new rendering kernel based on an Adaptive Binary Tree (ABT) algorithm. Especially outdoor levels with a lot of entities render remarkably faster with A7. The ABT offers also other advantages, like an unlimited number of dynamic lights and unrestricted geometry import from FBX and ASE file formats. A7 also supports the new powerful lite-C scripting language. Gamestudio/A7 is fully compatible to its predecessor, Gamestudio/A6 - projects started with A6.60 still run under A7. Detailed information, a free trial version, and a free full version of lite-C are available at http://www.3dgamestudio.com.
