Unity User Conference - Unite 2007

With the rapid growth of Unity and the Unity Community the time has come for folks to come together as one for the first ever Unity developer conference, Unite 2007.

It will be a three day technical conference that will offer attendees a chance to learn more about Unity and the Unity Web Player, to expand their horizons and explore what's possible. Developers, artists, producers or anyone else interested in using Unity to develop top-quality games and entertainment content are invited to attend.

The conference will be held in San Francisco on October 10-12, 2007.

Highlights
* 1.5 hours of keynote and road map presentations
* 8 1-hour technical sessions on a variety of topics, including shading and shadows, using physics and multi-player game development
* 8 hours of hands-on lab time during which you can work 1-on-1 with OTEE staff or meet with representatives from game portals and publishers
*Lots of time to get social and have fun!

Technical Sessions
There will be a total of 8 one-hour technical sessions offered, each covering a unique topic related to creating and deploying Unity-authored content. The sessions that will be offered are:

* Creating Great Game Play Quickly
* Developing Content for the Web
* Developing Multiplayer Gamers
* Making Physics Feel Good
* Performance Optimization
* Shading and Shadows
* Taking Your Games to Market
* Workflow and Asset Pipeline Tips

Hands-On Lab
At the end of each day of the conference there will be time for a hands-on lab. During this time attendees can received 1-on-1 assistance from OTEE staff in order to answer any outstanding questions or work on project-specific problems. There will also be game portal and publishing representatives there, ready to review and critique your games. So bring your project files or just bring yourself and a head full of questions, this is your chance to sit down with the experts and get over-the-shoulder help and advice so don't miss out.

Get Social
In addition to the daily conference agenda there will be a Unity Mingle event held during the conference. Everyone is invited to join us for a relaxed evening of talking shop and making friends. Details on this exciting and fun event are forthcoming so please stay tuned for updates.
