Annosoft announces The Realtime Lipsync SDK for the Xbox 360

May 14, 2007 - Richardson Texas -- Annosoft, a leading supplier of automatic lipsync technologies for games, has announced the availability of the Realtime Lipsync SDK for the Xbox 360 console.

The Realtime Lipsync SDK makes player to player communication come alive. The SDK decodes microphone audio and generates phonetical data to drive facial animations. The SDK generates very low-bandwidth information, making it a good fit for massively multiplayer gaming.

The Realtime Lipsync SDK provides 10 different configurations to manage the CPU footprint of the speech processor. The configurations can be changed during game play, and range from 6% CPU utilization to 1% CPU on the Xbox 360.

"We are excited to be providing a new solution for Xbox 360 developers" said Mark Zartler, president of Annosoft. "We are able to achieve realistic results with low overhead."

A fully functional evaluation SDK is available on request.

The Annosoft Lipsync SDKs have garnered an impressive customer list, including many of the biggest game companies. The SDKs are relied on to generate accurate lipsync information for customers with 100 or 100000 audio files. The results are accurate and the output can be flexibly molded to almost any character architecture.
