Hey everyone
I am learning Python as I have been told that it is a reletively easy language to start learning basic game design. However, I am having trouble with conflicting versions of python as some tutorials support .3 and others .2 so I have downloaded both versions, but now I cannot figure out how to change from my default version 2.7.3 to 3 and vise versa.
I have tried typing the following in my Python shell - c:\python33\python.exe and /user/local/bin/python-3 but both return errors. Both my python versions are on the C:\ drive. I have been told that a virtual environment is a possible way round this but I would much rather keep it simple and know what the syntax is to just change versions.
Many thanks
Simon

Which Language?

Hey everyone.
I have just started learning game design but I do not know which language to start with. I have been told that dark basic pro and game maker are a good place to start learning, but I come from an art background and I am very interested in the design aspect of gaming. Would be very grateful for any advice and what is the best way to go?
Thanks
