In Topic: XNA is officially dead

Boy, there's still a whole pile of stories I STILL can't tell about XNA from when I worked there. Great people on the team though - Sean Hargreaves, Frank Savage, Mitch Walker, Paul Bleisch, Tom Miller, etc. Frankly, I still wish that Managed DirectX had hung around, but that's a different story in itself. Can't believe most of all that started 10 years ago now (before it was public).

- from the guy that gave "XNA" its acronymed name

In Topic: NVIDIA's GPU Technology Conference, March 18-21, 2013

Good question. The actual game track is on March 21st. There were two other presentations that are listed as "game related," but not part of the game track (and, honestly, aren't critical to game developers). We selected March 21st for the game track (which has 6 sessions) so that it is just before the Game Development Conference the following week (about 30 miles north in San Francisco). We are aware that the timing of the GTC (relative to the GDC) isn't ideal. We will be working on something more spread-out in the following years.
