Display name historyWorlds Beyond is an indie JRPG driven by our love of the ‘golden age’ classics, such as Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 3/6, and Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It incorporates a lot of elements from these games, like eliminating random encounters by placing enemies directly on the map, interactive ‘timed attacks,’ etc., but also carries our own personal touch, including a tight, streamlined engine and interface and an original sci-fi storyline about the end of the world and what happens when a tiny piece of reality gets left behind.
