Need Opinion on Locomotion System I just Wrote

Locomotion system I just wrote in Javascript. I am using the Unity 3d game engine, the free version.
This is for a space simulator that is coming out in late 2013.
I am using a logic based on the difference in speed for every certain timestep. I get the delta and that gives me
the curve for the forward and backward leaning.
It still needs a bit of smoothing. Just wanted to know your guys opinion.
