i bought two new gamecube games today and i have to say that i am a little disappointed. the first one was viewtiful joe and allthough the oldskool beat em up genre is growing hair out of it's ears a meter long by now it still amuses me to play these titles. now for the not so good experience.

final fantasy chrystal chronicles : i allready knew that the game would not feature a storyline comparable to the original final fantasy games but that there was none at all left me bit puzzled. the graphics are marvelous but that doesn't work out for me since i need and want a game that has something to tell. it's a hack n' slay game some will say but i've seen games in that genre that had more depth and character devleopment. i will return this game tomorrow to the shop and get another one instead. allthough i enjoyed the excellent graphics that really show off what is possible on the gamecube this was the worst gaming experience i had so far on the gamecube. what a lousy game

I love Viewtiful Joe - even if I cannot get past my current level.

Mario Party 5 and Mario Kart are two favs around here.
