Looks very impressive, well done. I noticed some nice soft GI style lighting in one of your screenshots, are you using SH/AO or SSAO?

Will download later tonight at home :)

Just started the demo, game rocks.. or will rock! Anyway, graphics are nice, runs even here on 733 MHz, 256 RAM, XP Pro with Radeon 9250, 32 MB. Frames are about 20. Not all GUI elements are visible on low resolutions, so I'm unable to get back to the main menu from the options. Graphics engine seems to behave quite stable, even with less memory. Only 32 bit color-modes are supported - why? I hate playing on 32 bit. Sound is a little bit boring, but the game environment is impressive. You can count me in the beta testing team!

Hi, I managed to play your demo, well done, it is quite polished.

I do have some feedback though, and as a previous user has pointed out, the environmental sound is sub-par.

The game experience you present would improve significantly with some decent voice acting. In addition, some chit-chat and backtalk between squad members (just a random selection of sound bites which play back when a squad member takes down an enemy or gets hit themselves) this will help alot with player immersion.

Secondly, the ship sounds and gunfire, they need more follow through or build up, maybe you should hear the weapons charging up or similar?

I'm no sound expert, but IMHO sound and voice acting are key elements to a professional feeling game (which yours is very close to being)

Hope that helps,
-Danu

Nicely done, especially for an indy game. Dreambuilder Studios is located in Romania, right? I don't hear much about game companies out there, so kudos for the effort. I also read your engine specs and it has a lot of features. It looks like you guys have put a lot of effort into it, and it shows in Heresy.

Out of curiosity, what games, if any, had you used as a basis for Heresy? It sort of reminds me of Freelancer and to a smaller degree the X-series. What direction are you going to take with this project? More on the lines of dog fighting or a more unique approach?

It's hard to say we've had a basis because we've played most of the spacesims from the WC1 until now but, I think we were inspired by some of them ... a bit from one, a bit from other :). Perhaps WC series, Freespace and Freelancer inspired us the most.

Hello that game of yours looks very sweet looks just like eve online and if you guys really push it to the outer limits your team might be able to make that a mmorpg or even a major multi player pc disc game.

i know a lot of unforgiving work would line ahead if you and your team decide to do it but you have a great send off here keep up the good work and don't lose faith in your dreams

The screenshot is intriguing, but how was the game play? I have not tried this game yet, but the graphics seem impressive enough that they might bog down some machines. And is the gameplay captivating? How about the level of difficulty? Is it too easy or too difficult?
