1)I barely have time to write a 3 page book report, much less a game development article.
2)While I do have, what I call theorectical knowledge, I don't not have any real applications that I have used them on other than a 70-100 lines crap simulator. (I have written much longer code, just my only game.)
I may write an article on something after I finish my first project(i.e. 1-3 months getting ready and 1-2 creating it.), it will probably be about getting started in game development and some experiences that where good and should be taken and some that were bad and not be taken.

It doesn't have to be anything cutting edge. In fact, I think there's a general lack of good beginner tutorials. Just sharing your experience is a very noble thing. :worthy:
I will defnetely write atleast a mini-article and even if it is not long enough to put under the articles section, I will post it on the forums. Hey I may even make some tutorials for SDL if I have time that discusses different topics, and maybe even completes a simple tic-tac-toe game or something?
