I have a project I'm currently working on, or trying to work on, have been working on it for a year now and about a few months ago I realized I can't do this alone :/ As much as I wanted to. I have started coding it in PHP/Javascript and have the interface and some graphics for the game done. I also have the mythology, background worked out and the story plot.

I am very passionate about this world I've created and I'd like to see it through, I'm not planning on quitting on it for a long time to come, probably forever? lol I want to keep expanding it, like Tolkien's Middle Earth, mainly to develop my artistic skills (want to be a concept artist) and also to keep feeding my love for writing/storytelling.

anyway, as much as I'd love to spend the next 5 years learning C++ or some kind of programming to get this game made, that is not going to happen, I want to focus on developing my art skills as that's what I want to get into. Now I realize how important it is to find a Lead programmer that will help me to create this game.

The person I'm looking for needs to be as passionate about this project as I am, needs to stick with it and have great knowledge of PHP/Javascript/Ajax/Java and/or Flash. ATM, planning for a web based game.

Eventually I would like to build a team of people that are dedicated to creating a game, telling a story, working together and developing the skills needed for future career opportunities.

Have you considered searching for one of the billion hobbyist MMORPG projects out there and join one of them instead of starting your own like everyone else?
