Honastly I have tried everywhere and 90% of the time I am brought to the door and yet it gets shut in my face. So I found this on google and I figure I ask something see what comes up.
(Saddly the most I ever done as a result to minipulation of a game where game editors like Warcraft 3 World Editor and the Halo PC Custom Editions Sapien & Guerrilla programs.)
I got an idea which really doesn't need to be expressed in lengths right now, but I just need a RPG Game Engine capable of graphics quite similiar to I want to say Warcraft 3 since I want it compatable with most systems out there. Warcraft 3 though is a RTS game as everyone should know. I am also prolly the largest noob in the world seeing as I go from a gamer to wanting to produce a game in under 13 hours and after 3 days still have no clue of a single programming language :( Enless you count using Dreamweaver once and making a cool little picture site with some words... programming ): I got bigger problems then that though, looking at Warcraft 3 the game itself graphics are not all that real so I don't know if the engine is not used to it full potiencial or what.
Also since obviously from what I know Warcraft 3 game engine belongs to Blizzard so I am asking if there are any equivalent engines similiar to it. I also seeing as how graphics arnt the best. I just recently got Black and White 2 and it looks amazing!! it actually something quite similier to what I want, only I want more detail in each character like in Halo 3 or any FPS game.
So IDK if you see my problem or I am just confusing you, but I need to know what kind of game engine can I used to make a fully function RPG game that looks hot uses sick detail without high end graphics and I need knowledge of easy to use Programming languages. Ones I can learn in about a month time maybe a bit longer.... or shorter which would be great.
I am in no real rush as I am only 16 LoL wasn't needed, but I got school and such to get done in these times so it not like I want something done now. I would like some of these questions answered please. If you need more info on what exactly I am making I can share it, but it like 1:00 am :( and I still aint home to go to bed.
So, if it aint clear so far I'm lookin for a RPG game engine with low graphic card needs and details similiar to halo 3 for instance. Ironicly I doubt I would need that much detail.
One more thing I want to use models and such Unlike how in diablo 2 they used animation and pictures. I want it to be based up the same way halo was with models and such with everything having their own movement (if you even get that). If this is to much please say so and I think I can cut it down to a lower level of graphics.
P.S Are the character details.... say the detail of a troll would it be dictated by the model of the troll or by the game engine itself?
-Thank You-
Idk

Have you perhaps considered trying to get something simpler done before worrying about the details of a troll? =)
And by 'simpler' I mean *anything*, like tic tac toe, or something..

LoL it just an example...... I dont see how much detail you can put into an X or an O ? LoL
What is better for graphics OpenGL or Direct X?
Also lol this may be much or to many questions ,but if you make the game so that each game a character makes for online has 100 or more slots available for people to join. This will allow the RPG to be almost MMO but not quite. Just to ask Is it harder to do this than to actually make a MMORPG?

I'd say you shouldn't bother about how much detail you can put in a X or O until you can actually write a game of tic tac toe =) Learn to crawl before dreaming of flying.
