I have modelers, programmers, but I am stumped, i can't think of any ideas what so ever for actually creating a game... We are using Flash for the platform and have a good physics and 3d engine to use, but we don' have a clue in what to make... We all have long pauses when it comes to creating ideas... We shot out a few ideas, like we want to do a 2d or 3d game with emphasis on physics, in 3rd person, and yeah thats all we got. Anyone have any ideas for a game, or a good way to figure out how to think of a good game idea... This is our first project and we just want to make something that we can test out the 3d and physics engine... Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

1. Download a C64 emulator

2. Download a shitload of C64 game images.

3. Play them, Do this for at least a week. Spend at least 30 minutes per game.

4. Take the game you liked most and take it to the next level.

Btw, if you want to get some more modern inspiration: The fan community of Settlers is starving for a nice remake of Settlers 3 or 4.

These folks still do maps and play tournaments for a game that is almost 10 years old. The game mechanics can't be bad if it still has such an active fellowship.

Get a couple of cop chicks, then make them beat criminals up in girly ways.

thats got to be the best idea i can think of, and pack it full of cutscenes
inbetween the levels.

Call it "sex police" theres got be a market for it!

I like A Street Fighter version of Having old people with canes and walkers and just beat the hell outa each other and steal away the crazy striper wives from each other when they loose a match. Kinda like the Ren & Stimpy Old people, like 2d side scoller. call This One "Gramp Champ". Or Like Killer Instinct with old people with Combo Breakers.

This one would be easy to make, and I'll Make The Old people (Concept Art only) and the Voices too!

3d game in flash with physics? why not some sort of shooting game...either tanks (different kinds) or go with the fantasy approach and have wizards..warriors...whatever...

have people fight against each other or try to complete objectives as a team...capture the flag...etc etc

a way you could incorperate the physics in say a fantasy approach.

along with a melee weapon a warrior could have a crossbow...as it went along a path it would slowly go down and if it hit something...say a shield or whatever it could deflect in a random direction having a chance to hit someone else. like you shoot it at someone...they block it with their shield...but because of the angle it bounces to the left and nails his buddy in the chest.

i could give more ideas if you wanted but this is just a few basic ones

emphasis on physics

Make a FPS. They are somewhat reliant on physics and you can make a crazy physics engine if you wanted to.

Great concept art; you have me convinced! ;)

The crazy stripper wife looks like a groupie from an 80's hair band. That's a nice touch!
