http://www.3dpipeline.net - Documenting the Gaming Development Pipeline
Hey folks,
Back in the summer I decided to stop playing video games and actually learn something about what goes into the development process. Since then I've purchased piles of books, researched hundreds of engines, learned quite a bit about modeling, texturing and animation and art. The game development pipeline is incredibly demanding - the people that do this for a living are nothing short of amazing.
I've put together a website aimed at gathering resources and documenting the overall content to engine "chain" from the ground up. Newcomers to the industry/hobby are fairly overwhelmed. In addition, while most sites are good at specializing on specific areas, not many sites cover the tools pipeline from end to end as a process.
The basic site framework is together, including forums. There is still a lot of work to do, but it's coming together. Please stop by if you have a moment.

Thanks!

The first thing I ever made in Blender was a cube.
