Originally I did, but after realising I can use a remote desktop, I thought it might be better to do it the other way around, so the server could then be hooked up to out tv, so then I could have the video and audio streamed to my amp/tv! (which would be great) Only thing is I need a program that will allow me to do this!

So my two options are:
1. Find a way or and application that will allow me to stream both the audio and video currently being played/outputted

or

2. Log into the sever from my laptop, but if i do this I would rather have the media player that would be running on the server (but being run from the laptop) to mirror another instance that is actually running on the desktop, therefor not needing to change desktops.

My preference is no. 1, but would be happy with either.
