GLM is library that provides to C++ features that GLSL provides the way GLSL does it. I really have a close look on GLSL specification to get the same behaviour.
I have extented GLSL features using a kind of extensions mecanisum that keep separated those features. Numbers of features become high, GLM reach 59 extensions adding quarternions, half-float numbers, double-float numbers, approximations functions, operations on vectors, matrices, colors; compatibility with Cg and HLSL and so on.
