Hi all,
When I hear the term "Browser Based MMO" to describe a game, I conjure up images of detailed management screens, ominous turns/action sremaining counters, and very little visual feedback to player actions. That said, I was wondering if anyone has seen mmos created with flash, or some fancy ajax? I'm wondering about the possibilities of browser based mmos that are realtime and graphical. Of course, graphical in the sense of 2d sprites and maps, zelda like, no 3d. I'd like to hear about projects, proof-of-concept demos, or just your own thoughts on the subject.

Check out www.Runescape.com

Although the game sucks now that the creator destroyed the old version, it's still a very successful MMO.
