About the French community around ShiVa and Ston3D Engine,
this is because the StoneTrip company is French...
and you are right, some questions are in french and answers too.
I use google translation to solve this...
but I didn't saw any international post to be answered in French.
Hope to be more English in their forum !

Vehicle physics is available in the free version of 3D Game Studio. I have just downloaded it and it works very well. Another option would be Torque, but the approach is more difficult.

Hi
3DG's Lite-C v 1.05 is a free download and free for non-commercial purposes.
I think it will make a standalone app. too. But, I've never tried it so, I can't say how good it is.
Their screenshots look good though and i've read elsewhere that it's worth the download. You can program it in their version of C as well.

hmmm..... 10 minutes later....
OK. I just downloaded Lite-C. No hassles or registration or e_mails either. Installed it and in 2 minutes compiled one of their 3D examples. A nice terrain and (skybox, I think) where you kick around an earth ball around. Kewel. But, I don't see anywhere on the forum to upload the .exe. Sorry new here. But, thnks for the tip, Zard!
