As much as i respect you Buldurk i have to say that i've saw the same damn dirty tricks on GameDev. And then they banned me for saying them the truth in their eyes...

I believe that in the lounge everybody has the right to post whatever he wants (everything legal of course).

Actually, when I followed the link and saw that it contained adult content, I just left, but that's beside the point.

Personally, I don't think that devmaster is the right place to be posting adult content, whether linked or not, whether fun or not. However, because devmaster doesn't have an official rule about it, I hesitated to do anything about it. I think that everyone should be responsible for their own actions, so I left it. It wasn't until nkharrat specifically requested that I remove the post that I decided it was best to remove the link.

In hindsight, I should have contacted you, and that was my mistake. I still stand by my actions though.

Yes I admit, I personally talked to baldurk about this issue on IRC. There are three main reasons that justify my actions though:

1. We have to take into account that everyone is visiting the lounge forums. Lounge is for everyone, children - senior. Childrens, however, are not allowed to visit such site especially when there is no warning when entering this forum.
2. If we allow such posts in this forum, it'll eventually lead to more. Too much is not good, for reputation and other stuff.
3. Some visitors find it offending.

I think there should be a rule that talks about this.

i would have had no problem with removing that post and i totally agree that it was maybe too vulgar. my point however is not the content of the link but that i just don't want posts of mine deleted over my head. so... excuse accepted and i will watch more closely what i post in the future... :)
