yes , but this one, is free and portable,

but, soon, our group are working in a quake2 engine version,
more real, and on SDL

Coldev, if you're starting work with a Quake 2 engine, why not go ahead and use the Quake 3 engine? The quality is much better.

yes, but quake3 is only hardware accelerated,
our project is software render

Is there a particular reason why hardware acceleration is a negative? Basically any computer capable of running Windows XP can run Quake 3. Just curious.

yes , fenix compiler not support Accelerated devices (opengl, etc)

Fenix is Dreamcast,Gp32,gp2x, Linux, and other ports available,
(For portable purposes is "sotware render" only)
