I don't know if anyone will remember me but I posted here for a while on some threads about MMORPG design.
I'm about to get a very nice computer, so I'll be able to get into some real game developement hopefully.
I'm back, let's see who remembers me...

Would-be MMORPG designers come and go like crazy around here. I looked at your previous posts linked from your user profile and I still can't find anything special about what you want to do. You tried like crazy to find new ideas but it's all been done before.
Have you even made a simple game that would work on your old system yet? Admittedly, the last game I made in it's entirety ran on a Commodore 128 and was programmed in Commodore BASIC 7.0. Everything since then has used shortcuts of some sort or another. Are you familiar with 2d game design yet?
I have a very nice laptop computer but I'm not about to push it's abilities yet because casual games sell at least as well as hard-core MMORPGs and, once you've considered the amount of man-hours that go into the design and plots MMORPGs have, it's probably not much more profitable.
