[OpenAL] Some Troubles

hiiiiiiiiii, i got some troubles on OpenAL 1.1...
I dont understand the next concepts :

AL_REFERENCE DISTANCE,AL_CONE_OUTER_GAIN,
AL_CONE_INNER_ANGLE,AL_CONE_OUTER_ANGLE...

and the Orientation Vector ...
i dont get the "at" & "up" concept =/

ive implemented a lot of things less this, that are important ._.

so, i really apreciate your help :D

It works like a spotlight, but for sound. The sound is only emitted within a cone around a particular vector. You can set an inner cone, inside which the sound will be full intensity, and an outer cone, outside which the sound will not be heard, and it falls off smoothly between them.

andd, if i use more than 1 channel, for 5.1 audio..
it does affect the 3D spacialisation ??
or OpenAL take the Handle of that ?
