I recall some regular DevMasters discussing the D language a long time ago (e.g. here, here and here). It reached version 1.0 yesterday and I plan on finally taking a closer look at it. Here is a feature comparison between D, C, C++, C# and Java. Has anyone done something interesting with it?

I haven't tried it, but it looks like a very interesting language. I'll definitely take a closer look at it if I have time.

WOW! This guy creates wonderful stuff and he releases his source code too? Seriously a huge eye opener. Thanks for the links! I know now where to go if I need inspirations for a 2D game.

What feature comparison is that? I can only see one column for the "D" language in that table, I don't think that can be considered a comparison.
