I was just trying to post in the Recruitment Requests and my access was denied, is there a reason for this?

In the Recruitment forum no one can post replies. You should, however, be able to post new threads.

Now I can't see several forums including 3d engines or any recruitment forum from the forum index, is there a reason for it this time?

Hmm, the 3D engines forum and the recruitment forum seem to have been removed - probably Dia's implementing the changes discussed in this thread.
