i need help in deciding what i need to make an mmorpg ( pealse note that i have read the guides on this site so pealse dont tell me to go read one cause i am new to this ) heres what i know i need
1, i need a code (i was thinking about buying a book on java but i want better then it )
2, a graphic desgin / editer ( my brother said i could use psp9 and blender . can i ?):blink:
sever
3, a space to host
4 and a good understanding of a game plan ( i wish it was going to be as simple as it sounds so far ) but pealse do help me . thanks in advance

Blender has a high learning curve but I hear it is quite useful once you get over the learning curve.

yeah i got at it cause it got to confusen ...i dont konw its lemits .....i gusse....would you suggest makening the charters , land , and props for an mmorpg ? j/w

Have you looked into http://www.realmcrafter.com/ ? It has a cheap engine that should be easy to use. You'll still have to do your own models and so on but it's okay to start with on Windows.

yes i have conder this but i want to larn in the proces because if i dont larn i just get lazy :( and secound life but ...i dont like how it is set up ....but i wanna larn more about rc before i will ever buy it and see some of the games screen shots that people have took from the games they have made or are wroking on ...

i may try it if some can if some one can list the proper 3rd party resoces ....seems kinda werid dough
also if any one could also give me some tips on puting in chat systems , stores in game , random events and skills that incress and a lvl that incress ..acording to those those skills also how to make quick up dates ......

start small, like for example how to ask questions properly and express yourself in written words.

a couple things:
I will tell you now: realmcrafter sux
you can make stores and that junk using code, but the whole thing was written in basic, and it is atrocious. Not only is it slow, but I was tring to upload some models and as I scrolled down the letters wrote over each other making it impposible to read.
