I know it sounds sketchy but can people give me a retards explanation of what needs to be done once I have created a few model animations to be able to convert them into a format that can then be run and tested in a Java platform/app?

I am totally green to all this so please forgive me, I am having trouble searching for info on the subject as I am not toally sure what I am looking for.

Cheers.

What you need is an exporter to output the model and animation into a format that you can use. Maybe the microsoft .x format? I think an .x exporter is shipped with max, and you can use the directx mesh to load it in your app.

Cheers dude. I'll look into it.

Any more info in depth, simple or otherwise is greatly appreciated.
