I am almost willing to bet XNA is hosting a lot of tutorials, google will tell your where they are... Go through them, get to know your programming enviroment by following the examples and making small test games, then you can go on to make a simple fps.

Your original post is still there... just scroll up. There really is no need to repeat yourself.
First of all, Google is your friend!

i know how you feel, alot of the stuff on the net is really complicated
at first, most of the time they have to high prerequisite and is often
written poorly in my opinion.
ive been doing audio visual stuff for 8 years now and i still get totally
wiped by >>most<< stuff, you gotta make do with what youve got and
piece it together. and theres complete crap on the net too.
my advice is NOT to use the internet, but to buy a book instead, they
are usually ten times more patient and its better quality writing, and its
usually with less mistakes. but make sure you buy one with "from the start"
written on it instead of "advanced" because you really need to start from
the beginning if you want to learn games.
and you have to know how to use your programming language before youll
ever be able to understand an SDK written in a language.
