Xenia: Rise of the Heroes (the main title is set, but the subtitle is very likely to change)
Brief description:
I've been designing the idea for the game for about a year now, i had a small team working on it, but due to many problems, everyone left. I rewrote the whole game idea and design and , recently about a month ago i met Rion, whos art and illustration skills amazed me. Now together we continue designing the game and have made a lot of art and design progress. We now seek a small, sturdy team to help us reach our goal. The game is meant to be an action RPG, with a lot of story control in it. This means that everything that happens in the game is related to the story. The game will do much with the story through both gameplay and CG sequences.
Target aim:
Our goal is to create a great enough demo to show a publisher, and strike a deal. The game will be made for PC, but hopefully we will be able to use the new XNA framework and eventually port it for the XBOX or XBOX360
Compensation:
once we have a publishing deal, you will recieve a fair percentage.
Technology:
Programming Language - one of the C suite of languages, the goal is to use a rendering engine like OGRE as a base and then work off that to meet our goals.
Talent needed:
Art
3D Artists - About 3, two for the characters and enemies, another for scenery,buildings, objects, and such.
GUI Artist - 1 to design and make the windows, button and other things for the game interface.
World Concept Artist - 1 or 2, design and draw the world of Xenia and its scenery and cities.
Programming
Lead Programmer/Technical Directior - in charge of programming the main game, designing the technical aspects of the game
Senior Programmer - hopefully someone with a couple years of game programming industry experience under their belt. They will work as a main programmer too.
GUI Programmer - works on programming the main interface of the game
Requirements: Good knowledge and usage of C/C++ or C# , and also hopefully some experience with graphical engines.
Other
Composer - makes the music for the game
SFX artist - makes the different sounds for the game

Vince - thats me, I'm the lead designer/story writer, as well as the teams leader. i also want to be one of the side programmers, seeing as my skill is limited.
Rion - he's in charge of character designing, character illustrations, as well as the illustrations for the site.

Evil breeds where darkness, despair, and torment lie. It thrives on the pain of others; it has no remorse or mercy. Such was the case of one man, who had never been loved and had been cast aside by society. In his sadness and anger, he allowed the shadows to envelop him in cold embrace. The darkness began to change him, disfiguring him into a ghastly thing. He returned to his home and slew everyone. Dripping with his people’s blood he began to laugh, his maniacal laughter was heard all through Xenia. The shadows were now his minions, the beasts of the night. However, his power was far from complete; he had yet to obtain three ancient items that would make him immortal. A jar filled with the ancient winds of time, a crystal flower guarded by monks, and an ancient orb that contained the secrets of Xenia and its power. No one would stand in his way and if they tried…he would annihilate them.
