Hey y'all, this is my first post on devmaster.net, so i'd like to say hello. So anyways, here's the main reason why i'm posting:

Mechnet (3D online MMORPG) + others in the future
My partners and I are looking for a 3d game programmer who knows the following:
-how to incorporate prebuilt 3d models into a game engine
-alter existing 3d game engines (ie- wild magic)
-make them useful for multiplayer purposes over a central server (not p2p)
If you do not know all of the above, it would be nice if you guys could refer me to someone who does. So now on to the game:
The main premise of the MMO game is to control a mechanized assault vehicle. We would like to design or alter a 3d engine to allow the user to initially control a pilot in a multiplayer format. Like many games like found on consoles, the player starts of in 3rd person camera controlling a pilot (a human being in the future). We are planning to use this basic online 3d engine for other projects in the future (such as a 3d messenger that we will offer to Google Orkut). Once we have created this engine to suit our needs (with your help), we plan on then specializing it for our online game: Mechnet. We have many great ideas, and are very open to and other ideas too, and we have extremely wonderful and talented 3D artists who are willing to dedicate their time to the game. Our problem, as you know, is that we do not have someone to guide our project in terms of the actual programming.
If you are a qualified programmer, but do not like the game or our ideas, please respond to this post and say so. We are HIGHLY flexible about the game, even the theme (ie- changing mechs to something else).
We want this to be an online game, kind of like Runescape, but A LOT better.
The main programmer is entitled to up to 80% of profits once the game is up and running (negotiable).
Any good programming language for use in 3D (c++, c#, java, etc.)
-Ability to take 3d models, and incorporate them into a 3rd person game format
-Ability to incorporate online client-server coding is a bonus
Currently, we have 2 highly talented graphics artists, and a project manager and website designer (myself). We have access to dedicated servers, etc. There is no real hierarchy in our company, and we are very open to discussion.
