Force of Arms is seeking a talented animator/texture artist to help bring our numerous models to life.
Team name:
Wardog Studios
Project name:
Force of Arms
Brief description:
The Force of Arms game project has been in development for over a year. We are a group of information technology and computer professionals who wish to make a game for gamers. We were frustrated by existing MMOs and set off to make the game we actually want to play.
Target aim:
This project is intended to be a retail MMO. We anticipate the first version of the game being released in 2007.
Compensation:
Depending on the time and skill you are willing to put into the project, it will vary. Ideally, we'd like to find a gifted animator/texture artist who is willing to join the development team and share a percentage of revenue. We're more than willing to put things in writing for the right person.
Technology:
The game is being developed in conjunction with Multiverse. It is based on the Hero Games rule system (by permission). Feel free to ask about additional details.
Talent needed:
Experience (and skill) in 3d Studio Max is critical. These will be fairly low polygon models for gaming. We need a person who truly understands animation, modeling and how to correctly apply textures. This is your chance to have some fun bringing huge mechs, tanks and aircraft to life (as well as soldiers). Knowlege of OGRE would be a big bonus.
Team structure:
We are currently a small development team with a few contract workers assisting. The vast majority of us are information and computer technology professionals in our day job. We rely heavily on voice communication.
