Hi, i'm having several problems with DirectX. First off, i decided to get milkshape to import my .ma (maya 7) files and export them as .X file but appearantly there are bugs in the maya import feature so the outcome is that i'm now looking for a proper direct x exporter for maya 7. I have one but the problem is that it does not load when i use them in my game. :glare:
I replaced it with another .X file that i did not make and it works correctly wich -i think- is due to the exporter.

Have you tried using the DirectX SDK exporter? I have not tried MilkShape and am just starting to export meshes myself so I am not that experienced with either.
If you haven't tried it yet the DirectX exporter is under DirectXSDK\Utilities\Content Creation Tool Plug-Ins\Maya\Binary7
