Brief description:
A space sim with RPG elements. Similar to X3: Reunion, EVE or Freelancer. The engine for this game has been in development for the last few years, but the idea for the game has been born few months ago. We want to create a large living universe. The player could do virtually what he likes. He could trade cargo, look for lost treasures, join a certain guild, etc. There will be lots of missions (many randomly generated) and the main plot would reveal itself in small pieces in time. The game will have an advanced economy system based on supply and demand, a living universe with everyone doing something not just fly around in circles and RPG elements like mechant skills, flying abilities, mind strength etc.

Artist tools: any tool capable of exporting PNG for textures and 3DS for models
Talent needed:
We're looking for people who can dedicate their time and have the necessary skills to help complete this project. As I mentioned earlier, we plan to sell this game. So we need people experienced with programming/modeling/texturing.
Programmer: must be skilled with C++ and have extensive knowledge about OpenGL; good math skills would come in handy
Texture Artist(s): must be able to create space textures used as skyboxes and textures for models
3D Modeler(s): must be able to create low and high poly spaceship/spacestation models

Additional Info:
We're aiming at the high-end PCs. GFX would be done on GLSL only with lots of special effects (HDR, dynamic soft shadows, bump-mapping on everything, realtime motion blur, etc.). Physics simulator and skinned characters will be included in the next engine version (we plan to use the same engine in the future as it's very versatile and fast). LUA scripting language is included and a SDK will be issued for players to create their own mods.
