The Epic Lands of Dran

Brief description:
The Epic Lands of Dran is a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG (MMORPG). That takes place in the lands of Dran (the meaning behind the title). It will be a game of steampunk fantasy. We've been working on it for two months, and are currently starting work on character models, the client program, and networking.

Target aim:
To create an indy MMORPG for those with less money to spend on games (a $5 dollar monthly fee for servers and bandwidth). We also hope to promote the idea of role-playing in an online game.

Compensation:
None. These are volunteer positions.

Technology:
This is being developed for Windows, Mac, and *nix. It wis written in C++ using Irrlicht for the graphics engine.

Talent needed:
We are in need of 3D modelers (about 5 or 6, right now). They can use whatever program they'd like. So long as we can get the models in .X format. Low-poly modeling exprience is a plus.

We also need 2D artists for concept art and textures. Like the position above, you can use any program that you wish. All art will need to be in .PNG format. Texturing experience a plus.

We have a finished design document and are churning out more and more concept pictures. For now the document and concepts are for team members only until more can be finished. Most of the info that can be publicly read, is at the above website.
