Why would any professional business want to hire someone LEARNING when they can have someone who already KNOWS everything, and either are payed equal?

Micheal Murphy:

Do you mean, "Who hires people once they graduate?" or do you mean, "Who hires people in school?"?

For the former, generally everyone sharks over people who freshly graduate. They're generally very eager, willing to work for lower pay (in exchange for valuable experience), etc.

For the latter, you're probably going to be looking at co-op terms, internships, etc. For those, don't look at the money, look at the experience, as it'll help accelerate your future.

Good luck!

You're quite a bitter guy as it seems, let's see what you're capable of. Show us your work.

Now, now...bitter or not, it doesn't change the fact that what he said was pretty much true.

With Reedbeta, plus I don't see what Lassaris' work has got anything to do with what he just said.

I assume you know what "right out of school" means?

Besides, http://www.devmaster...read.php?t=6328.

I'm just sick of people who don't know what the fuck they are talking about, but then again like to critisize others.

I think the question asked here by Michaelmurphy110 was totally ok. Many companies do hire people who have just graduated.

Also I don't know where did you get that equal payment-idea from. Usually trainees, or newcomers, are paid much less than the professionals with years of experience.
