Beware though, it seems game-related projects don't have great chances being taken. I just followed an IRC-discussion on this issue.

What's this all about.. a stipends program? I read some of it and it seems the idea is someone basically employs you to write an open-source application during the summer.

Shit, you have to be 18 by May 8, 2006. I'm just five months too young to participate.

I'm really interested some of the Gnome projects, but I want a break from programming... it's summer! sunshine! (looks around, gives up)
