been doing the programming thing for 7 years now and I *just* figured out how to read that crap.

Question though: what about the 'j'? j is just j?

What does programming have to do with typing like an idiot?

I whole lot. Nah, seriously, I've forgotten 1337, and it would take me a really long time to decipher that crap. And yes, as far as I recall, "j" is just "j", but it can be used as a y as well. As in: "j00 f0015!1".

(no one should be offended personally.. okay, possibly all the dudes that get excited about stuff like 1337 and see learning it as a big thing in life, *smile*)

Omitting capitalization already makes my stomach turn...

It is far more useful to learn some x86 machine code (or just assembly, for starters). But I guess only real programmers are up to that. :sneaky:

If you want some really cryptic language, learn more math :D there's always some more cryptic thing in math :D (and you can actually use it laters one day :D).

Well, what ever. I know a lot of friends that really don't bother trying to get something out of their life. For them, such stuff is great. They feel cool about it. I prefer to eighter have this time spent for real life (girls, party, dj'ing, friends. in the opposite order :D), or learning something. Be it some stuff in a certain programming topic, some strange languages for new concepts, something about the industry, what ever. Doesn't matter. :D
