Did you think that cross-posting this message 3 times is going to get you 3 times the help? It won't. Please don't cross-post.

Why would a "really really good programmer" be interested in working on your project? What do you have to offer what all the other peolpe with game ideas don't? Money? And then I mean lots of it? If so, I'm interested

.edit: ah I see, no money. Then tell me, what makes your project more interesting than all the other billions on the internet?

Yeah I understand why you are searching for other teammembers, I'm simply asking why any of those potential teammembers would choose YOUR project over all the others that can be found on the internet forums. And if your going to pay them, how? Where would you get the money? Not from selling your game because that simply won't happen ;).

Look, I might sound harsh, but you obviously need a reality check. Gamedevelopment is a very timeconsuming business and you won't achieve something without any experience and commitment. Lots of people like you have posted similar topics, and while some have actually formed complete teams, all of those projects ended up in 'the big void of the unfinished'. People have different ideas of what game to make, lots of them have social lives so won't spend the time on the project you want them to spend, and most of them simply aren't any good at what they do but they're in the team because they want to be a gamedeveloper too (because those that are good won't get themselves involved with such a project as they know it most probably won't succeed).

Why is your project any different? Why will thise one succeed, as opposed to all the others? I'm not asking because I want to know, but because if you can answer these questions people would be interested to join your team. However, you should realize that a team leader needs leader skills, and if you don't have any you're better off choosing someone else as team leader. And it's not "your way or the highway", your teammembers need to stay interested in the project. And be realistic, don't make a list of tons of cool features to implement, but rather start with a simple game that isn't cool at all, so you have something to work with which you can then improve with the features you want, one at a time.

Im not saying it will succsseed or anything. I just want to form a team and so they could help me with the programming because otherwise it will take me too long to create the game. I have the idea I don't know how to make graphics good, and the background map good. But the rest of it I have and maybe someone will want to be part of something that might one day be really really good... Make it multiplayer and start an internet community that plays our game... it's not "my way or the highway" i just have the starting idea. And i'm trying to get some one to help me expand that idea and help me make my dream come to life.

Okay this has got a bit out of hand. Sehab, it's great to try to make stuff, but people here see a lot of projects never get off of the ground, and are very critical of what they see - please don't leave with the impression that the board hates you, that's not true at all.

To help you avoid this sort of forum confrontation, please read this page:

It has a lot of good advice and will help you come out of the end with something to show for your time.
