first, I know that a thread has been closed, so, be polite...
what are, according to you, the next features of future game engines, such as unreal engine 4 (or 5...), that can be implemented in the future?
imagine you have 1000 programmers at your disposal...
the features of future groundbreaking game engines....

Having 1000 programmers would be much more of a hinderance than a help.

It's great to see (again) how ppl put a "clever" comment instead of trying to understand what the author of the question actually wanted to say.
Maybe we're going to see even better physics..like things melting when they get hot etc...
Currently I don't see much really new concerning graphics...
we'll see some effects faked a bit better...

"Social" games. Games you can play together are more fun. I find most of the multiplayer games of today a bit too hardcore-gamer-style.
A good example of a game I would call social is singstar (?) for the ps2. It comes with a large music collection and microphones. The players compete in singing, and need to keep the right note and rythm. Quite fun to do with some friends, actually. Of couse it sucks if you are alone, though.
I imagine there are plenty of great concepts just waiting to be explored. Something easy to start playing, but complex enough to be interesting even for those who do not actually play it.
