Well, my life is reeeeeeeeaallllly wierd currently, and definitely not going in the direction i want it to, in no part of it actually. Except one: Next Tuesday, I'll get my new car, a brand-new "Grande Punto". Can't wait!!

But the reason of my post is a different one. This weekend (First weekend in spring actually) we have had hell of a lot of snow falling, up to 30cm down where I live, wich never happens normally at all. And now it happens in spring (now don't tell me about our fucked up clima-system and all... !!).

As I can get no sleep, I walked out and made some pictures of what it all looks like. It's really a very special, intense feeling to walk around in the snow in the night.

There it is.

And still no sleep...

Does your new car come with a shovel? You’re going to be spending quite a few more sleepless nights >=)

I wish we had this amount of snow here in Canada; at least in my area. This is noting compared to us!

You have some excellent pictures there, especially the black and white ones, and especially the ones of the road disapearing into darkness. Very Silent Hill-ish!

the coolest thing is, when it's night, and snowing, get out with a cam and enable the flash. but don't look at the cam, just out into the darkness and do the flash. you see immediately all the snowflakes glowing up and going away in darkness again.

very.. spooky.. :D

That's Joisy for ya!

Wow, looking at the pictures of snow makes me miss home. Ice skating, sledding, skiing, christmas hayrides. To be back in northern Michigan would be nice as long as they could get rid of the cold.

I went to the beach Saturday and Sunday. It was 75 degrees all weekend here in sunny Florida. :p

Sorry you can't sleep. I was just reading this blog today, and it had advice that might help.

i can't sleep currently because i lost my best friend last sunday, the girl i was out with for more than the last two years. we had a great time together, but well, it didn't worked out the way i wished, wich made it more and more difficult, till the break last sunday.. funny.. sunday is her last name..

i miss her really much.

That's tough. I've found from personal experience that the only thing to reliably fix that kind of problem is time. :(

I wouldn't count on time doing a particularly good job either...
